Hmmm it’s taking longer than normal…what’s going on…?

Hahaha, well… We almost got boarded but the Canadian Coast Guard. – it’s one of my biggest fears! Just feels so intimidating.

Apparently a boat named Coho was flagged for bringing cannabis over the border. Although we renamed our boat to Yahara, it still came up as Coho in the Canadian System.

Oof!! So we were asked a loooot of questions about cannabis.

But, we are very particular about making sure we follow all rules and regulations with border crossings, including not having cannabis (or any drugs for that matter) on board, or fresh produce, or raw/uncooked chicken, or eggs, and we follow the on board alcohol allowance, and we don’t have any weapons, so no worries there, and we would never carry more than $10,000 in cash so no worries there either.

Lol, these are just the tip of iceberg for international rules.

But the ones they care about the most.

Either way, we didn’t get borded, but we watched someone else at the customs dock get boarded.

They make you sit on deck, while they rumage through your boat.

Oof!!! I do not want.

But were in! We have our number posted on the boat and we can enjoy beautiful British Columbia!
